Are you ready to walk the bay? Join King's Guide to the Kent Estuary, Michael Wilson, on the historic bay walk across the bay from Arnside to Grange.
Although the walk dates back to the era of Henry VIII and the original route was from Hest Bank to Kents Bank, due to the soft sand at Hest Bank the route is now Arnside to Grange.
The walk from Arnside is a lovely walk with a varied terrain and is between 5.5 to 9 miles depending on the safest route.
You must be physically fit to walk 9 miles and all walkers must attend our safety briefing.

Cost
- If you are a registered Charity the fee per walker is £5.00
- Individual walkers can book directly with Guide Over Sands Trust for £15.00 per walker
Accessibility
- All are welcome to join us on a bay walk, however you MUST be able to walk at least 8 miles at ease. and be in good health it isn't recommended for children under the age of 5 to join a walk unless being carried all the way by their parent / guardian.
