The first Wray Scarecrow Festival was organised in 1992. It was the brainchild of David Hartnup, and a few other local residents, after David and his wife encountered a similar festival in France whilst on holiday.
We believe we are the longest running scarecrow festival in the UK!
The 2025 Wray Scarecrow Festival & Fair dates:
Saturday 26th April – Bank Holiday Monday 5th May
This year’s theme is Circus - so come along and join in the fun!
