West End Winter Lantern Festival

Start your festive season by joining this magical and memorable community celebration in Morecambe’s West End.

Everyone’s invited to join the procession as it weaves through the streets, featuring lanterns created by local people, and led by Baybeat Streetband. Start the evening in the warmth of More Music, with a gig showcasing the music made we’ve made together over the autumn.

Then join the parade, which will culminate in a special performance outside the building, in collaboration with our friends from Cacophany Arkestra.

Featuring light projections, dance, music and loads of community spirit, the West End Winter Lantern Festival will create light and warmth in Morecambe! From 4pm.

Lantern Making Workshops
Join More Music for a day of lantern-making. This year lantern designs will take inspiration from our collaboration with Cacophany Arkestra.

Expect, crows, acorns and mighty oaks, on beautiful willow and paper lanterns.

Book online at moremusic.org.uk for this session to create your own lantern to carry in the procession on 5th December.
