More Music will once again bring creativity and climate action together with the return of the Three Degrees Festival, a vibrant free community celebration set to take place in Morecambe on Saturday 27 June.

Building on the success of the 2025 event and supported by a range of funders and a crowdfunder campaign, the free festival will transform More Music and the neighbouring Alexandra Park into a lively hub of music, art, storytelling and hands-on workshops for all. Rooted in themes of climate change and collective action, the event invites communities to explore practical and creative ways to make a positive difference. Produced by More Music’s Eco Collective, a group of young creative producers, the festival takes inspiration from the urgent reality of rising global temperatures, while championing a message of hope: that small, connected actions can ripple outward to create meaningful change.

The event will include a packed programme of performances from local and regional artists alongside More Music groups, showcasing original music, youth performance as well as collaborations with local primary and specialist schools. Young people will perform songs and instrumental pieces exploring their thoughts and feelings about climate change, created with the support of More Music musicians during a series of workshops in advance of the festival. Visitors can enjoy imaginative tales and take part in environmentally themed hands-on workshops in a welcoming area combining storytelling, sustainable merchandise, food and creative activities. Dance, spoken word and pop-up performances throughout the day will bring additional energy to the festival, highlighting themes such as fast fashion, biodiversity and environmental responsibility.

Inside More Music, visitors will be able to explore a photography exhibition created by young photographers working with Assembly Arts. Young photographers have taken a collection of images showcasing their perspectives on the environment and their feelings around climate change. These images will provide the inspiration for young people attending creative music sessions at More Music to create new music to be performed at the event.

The Three Degrees Festival is made possible through the support of Closing Loops - Pots of Possibility, The National Lottery Community Fund, Food Futures, The Granada Foundation, Francis Scott Trust, Lancashire Music Hub, Lancashire County Council and many individuals who supported a crowd-fundraising campaign. More Music is supported by Arts Council England, Youth Music, Lancaster City Council and Garfield Weston Foundation. The festival is also supported by a range of partner organisations, who share a commitment to community engagement and environmental sustainability.
