Silents by the Sea

A celebration of classic cinema with live music, Silents by the Sea is back at Morecambe Winter Gardens for a special all-dayer on Saturday 30th November.

2.30pm-4pm: Saturday Slapstick with Laurel & Hardy and friends
A cornucopia of top-notch silent film comedians get into spectacular scrapes in this quadruple-bill of slapstick - with live music. PG

4.45pm-6.15pm: Museum of Dreamworlds
The Emperor Nero sets fire to Rome, and Odysseus encounters the Cyclops on his journey home. This quartet of early silent films brings the ancient world alive on the screen. PG

7.15pm-8.45pm Battleship Potemkin
A classic of Soviet silent film on the big screen, with live music. PG
