About the Gregson Festival Group
The Gregson Festival Group (GFG) is a volunteer-led subgroup of The Gregson charity, responsible for delivering key free and low-cost community events throughout the year. These include the much-loved Bonfire and Firework Display on Miss Whalley’s Field, the Santa Float and Grotto, and the annual Halloween event.
The group is run entirely by volunteers and works closely with The Gregson Arts and Community Centre, while remaining financially independent.
The group’s Christmas events, alongside Halloween activities, quizzes, lantern-making workshops and music events, help raise funds for the annual Bonfire and Firework Display.
