The Promenade Concert Orchestra was formed 17 years ago by its Music Director and Conductor, professional clarinettist, Howard Rogerson, and specialises in light orchestral music from all genres, and is the only 35+piece orchestra in the country presenting Palm Court music, alongside, New Year Viennese, 100 Best Tunes, Family Favourites, Housewives' Choice, Music for Ballet and Dance, Music from the Shows, Music from the Films, Music While You Work, etc, as they celebrate music's great days in the spas and watering places of England! They have commissioned new works, encouraged young players, soloists and composers to work in this genre. Have produced several CD live recordings of their concerts.
