Magic Islands of Music

A local music education charity is providing an immersive musical experience for babies and toddlers over Half Term.

Experienced music practitioners from More Music in Morecambe’s West End will guide babies, toddlers and adults through a world of light, wonder and sound in an encouraging, safe and playful setting,

Participants will embark on a creative, adventurous and informative expedition into music together; touching, moving and playing with what they see and hear in More Music’s venue on Devonshire Road.

The unique Magic Islands of Music experience takes place on Friday 31st October and Saturday 1st November in several sessions over the two days, “Magic Islands has been the best thing I have taken my son to. Creative, beautiful, exciting and interactive. I can’t wait to bring my new baby when she is old enough,” said a previous audience member.

The sessions take place in a specially created space where objects, instruments and playful interventions gently flow in and out. Blending singing, music, light, texture, colour and shadow creates a magical experience for very young children and their families. The activities are immersive and interactive allowing children to explore according to their own needs.
