Lancaster's seasonal markets a celebration of the seasons, with local produce, street food, music, arts and crafts, community stalls and fun activities for all the family.
During the Spring, Midsummer, Harvest and Midwinter markets, Lancaster’s market square comes alive as a place to meet up with friends, buy local produce and pick up some lunch. As well as a range of local food and craft stalls you’ll find live music throughout the day, cooking demos using seasonal produce and somewhere to sit and enjoy a spot of lunch.
The markets offer a mix of stalls including hot food, craft and local produce including veg, honey and vinegars. It’s also a chance to chat to community organisations such as Claver Hill, FoodFutures, Eggcup, Sewing Cafe Lancaster and Lancaster and Morecambe Makers.
At each market, the season's issue of North Lancashire’s community food magazine THRIVE is launched. Come down, pick up a copy, buy some fresh local produce and support our local food economy.
Lancaster's Harvest Market is one of four seasonal markets hosted by FoodFutures, North Lancashire's award-winning local food partnership. The seasonal markets were launched in 2016 with the aim of celebrating the seasons and variety of local produce and products.
