Lancaster's Midsummer Market

Taste seasonally-inspired food, meet local food producers and discover Lancaster’s bubbling local food and craft scene.

On Friday 13 June from 10:00-17:00 Lancaster’s market square will be bustling with local food producers, vegetable seedlings and flowers, community food projects, music and local craftspeople. Around lunch time, there will be cooking demos with local chefs, showcasing how you can use seasonal produce, and of course you can grab a bite to eat from several street food traders.

The Midsummer Market is the second of four seasonal markets coordinated by FoodFutures every year. The markets celebrate our surrounding environment and the diversity of produce the different seasons bring. The Midsummer Market celebrates the warm weather and the abundance of summer with local food, crafts and music.
