Founded in 1889, Lancaster Photographic Society is for anyone with an interest in photography. Everyone is welcome! We are people who make pictures purely for the joy of making pictures. Members are making still (and sometimes moving) images with phones, drones, scanners and digital cameras. There is also expertise with analogue film developing and printing in the Society. Your gear doesn’t matter, just your enthusiasm.

We meet on Monday evenings, 7.30 til about 10 (and then on to the pub), with formal meetings from September to April, and workshops and trips over the summer months.
