Lancaster On Ice

Award Winning and internationally recognised Lancaster on Ice returns for the 2024 season to the historic Dalton Square, in the heart of Lancaster.

Lancaster On Ice returns Dalton Square from the 23rd November till the 5th January.

Winners of the Lancashire Tourism Awards ‘Large Event Award’ 2019 and nominated as one of the best ice-rinks in the UK & Europe by the Guardian Newspaper, we return with Christmas Market Stalls, the Giant Tipi Bar, 800m real ice, Ice-Rink and giant Ferris Wheel.

Lancaster On Ice offers general skating sessions of 1 hour (45 minutes on the ice) at our fabulous Dalton Square 800m2 real seasonal ice-rink.

Opening from Saturday 23rd November 2024 to Sunday 5th January 2025.

All tickets include skate hire, and customers with their own skates are welcome to bring their own too.
Customers are requested to arrive at least 20 minutes before a session start time in order to exchange shoes for skates.

Children 12 and under must be accompanied on the ice by a parent or guardian or person over the age of 16 in the interests of safety. It is a parents responsibility to decide whether or not their child should be allowed on the ice. Children 13 years and above are able to skate independently, and should purchase an Over13 ticket for this purpose.

Skate Aids are available for small children to use, with their parents and are strictly limited to use for children under 10 years old and under 110cms due to safety .

Please note that all Tickets are subject to a Booking Fee, applied at the checkout, of £1.50 per person.
