Hank Williams: Talk on What Fools We Have Been

Local writer Hank Williams will be at The Centre, behind St Thomas’ Church in Lancaster, on Tuesday 1 September for a free talk about his new book What Fools We Have Been.
Drawing on a lifetime of family memories and research, Hank traces a moving, multi-generational story that begins in Morecambe Bay and explores themes of family history, wartime trauma and inherited memory. As a local author, Hank brings a unique perspective to the people, places and experiences that have shaped life around the Bay across generations.
The talk takes place from 12.30pm to 1.30pm and offers an opportunity to hear directly from the author about the stories behind the book, his research journey, and the local connections that inspired it.
