Fancy stepping into a musical zoo?
Come and join the Haffner Orchestra on Saturday 20th June at the Ashton Hall and experience the magic of music with two extraordinary masterpieces: The Carnival of the Animals by Saint-Saëns and Mozart’s Symphony No. 41. The Carnival of the Animals is a delightful and imaginative journey through the animal kingdom, brought to life entirely through music. Each movement paints a playful portrait, from the graceful ‘Swan’ to the mischievous ‘Fossils,’ making it perfect for all ages and all music lovers.
And prepared to be dazzled by our two superstar piano soloists both currently staying at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM): Tsukushi Mitsuda and Minsung Park.
If that were not enough, you will also be treated to a Mozart symphony that is often referred to as one of the greatest works of classical music ever written. Mozart’s ‘Jupiter’ Symphony is a breathtaking display of power and elegance. Written a couple of years before his death, it represents the pinnacle of classical music. We are set for an evening full excitement.
Bring your friends, bring your family and experience an evening where music becomes a living, breathing menagerie. Over 450 people enjoyed our recent performance of Verdi’s La Traviata. Did you miss out? Then get your tickets now for this perfect summer’s night out.
