Geology Family Event at Half Moon Bay

Join us at Half Moon Bay for a fun hands-on geology event. Don’t forget to book a family place to explore, collect and learn about things that lived and live there now. Why not join us down on the sands in Morecambe Bay for a look at the rock beneath our feet. All equipment provided. This is an outdoor event so please come dressed for the weather conditions with suitable footwear. Please note these areas are very slippery and supervision of children is always required especially whilst near the rocks. You can arrive promptly for lots of time to explore or do just drop in as suits. Parking is at the Lancaster City Council car park on Smithy Lane has a charge and only takes card payments via RingGo. Drink and toilet facilities are located at Half Moon Bay café.
