The Amani Collective brings together Manchester based musicians with roots in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Morocco, Nigeria and beyond.
United by a shared passion for celebrating Africa’s rich musical heritage, the collective blend Congolese Rumba, Soukous, Afrobeat, Palm Wine music, Makossa, Intore, Gospel and contemporary Afro-fusion into dynamic performances that inspire audiences of all ages.
Whether on stage, in workshops or through collaborative projects, the Amani Collective creates joyful, authentic experiences that connect people through music, storytelling and shared celebration.
