Lancaster Walks
Lancaster Walks offers guided walking tours that bring the city’s fascinating history to life. Led by a knowledgeable local guide, our walks explore Lancaster’s most important landmarks as well as its hidden corners. Each tour lasts around 3 hours and covers highlights such as Lancaster Castle, the Priory, Georgian squares, historic streets, and lesser-known alleyways.
Along the way, visitors hear stories of the people who shaped Lancaster — from medieval kings and Georgian merchants to the Pendle Witches and more modern tales. Lancaster Walks is designed for both visitors and residents. Many locals join to discover details they’ve never noticed, while tourists enjoy a lively introduction to one of England’s most historic cities.
