Lancaster Arts at Lancaster University
Head up to Lancaster University campus to enjoy a wide programme of internationally renowned contemporary theatre, dance, visual art and classical music.
A year round programme gives you the chance to explore the distinctive campus-based performance spaces - the Nuffield Theatre, the Peter Scott Gallery and the Great Hall - which hosts the International Classic Concert Series.
Artistic work has been presented at these venues and in the surrounding region for over 50 years, celebrating a broad range of artistic practices from contemporary circus to classical music, Live Art to visual art. The Nuffield Theatre is the largest black box theatre outside of London and has played an important role in the history of British theatre.

Accessibility
- The Great Hall Complex was built in 1964 with entrances on multiple levels. As such please be aware that you may occasionally find that accessing certain venues requires those in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility to access the venue through set routes. You will be advised on this upon your arrival.
- Guide/assistance dogs are welcome, please let us know in advance if you are bringing your dog and we will make sure that you both have a comfortable and easy time.
