The Royal at Heysham
The Royal is a hidden gem in Heysham, within striking distance of Morecambe Bay.
Welcoming travellers for over 250 years, it is steeped in history, and that character from years gone by remains today. Original features have been painstakingly restored and parts of the building put back into use as part of a multi-million pound transformation. The result is a stunning bar, dining and large garden areas, along with 11 guest rooms.
It's the perfect stop-off if you're exploring the bay area, whether for a quick drink, a tasty meal or as part of a longer stay.
Opening Hours
- The bar opens from 11am to 11pm Sunday to Thursday, 11am until 12am on Fridays and Saturdays.
Accessibility
- The hotel: We have one adapted room on the ground floor with a raised bed with a hoist available on request. This room also has a wet room with emergency facilities, and an adjoining room for your PA or family members.
